To help patrons of the Sewickley Community Center Food Pantry prepare Thanksgiving dinner, Outreach is asking that you fill a grocery bag with the non-perishable items that are traditionally used at Thanksgiving. There are bags with “grocery lists” attached in the back of the sanctuary or you can print this PDF to use with your own bags. There are 2 lists: one for small families and one for larger families. Choose the one you would like to shop for. Please bring your filled bag to church no later than Sunday, November 11th (Thanksgiving is early this year). Monetary donations are needed to purchase Giant Eagle gift cards so that the families may purchase perishable items. Mark those gifts “Thanksgiving Bags,” and include them with your regular offering, or use EasyTithe, also indicating “Thanksgiving Bags.”
