The United Methodist Women are thankful to be halfway toward our mission budget goal. We have only $1,980 to go by Dec. 31. All of the $4,000 we raise goes to fund UMW mission projects here at home and around the world. Compared to the vast scope of need in our world, $4,000 is a drop in the bucket. However, it goes a long way to feed some hungry children, to assist some girls in getting an education, and to provide some health care services to some families. Thank you for your continued support.

• The UMW thank everyone who helped make our September Saturdays on the Lawn Sales for Missions a success. Between the sales and donations, we raised $2,020 toward our mission budget of $4,000. We thank everyone who donated money, donated items to sell, bought items, sorted goods, carried bags, moved boxes, set up and took down tables and tents, sold, and cleaned up after the sales. Thank you to all who helped.

• Our next Rummage Sale for Missions will be indoors, Friday, November 6th, 5 - 8 PM and Saturday, November 7th, 8 AM - 1 PM. We appreciate your donations of Christmas items; household goods; small appliances; winter coats, boots, hats, and gloves; and books, puzzles, and games. Please do not give us any electronics, television sets, exercise equipment, or large pieces of furniture.
