COVID-19 Outbreak and Sewickley Community Food Pantry
The needs have been great and will continue to be so. While some were able to purchase extra food and other necessities, many did not have the means to do so. In the ensuing weeks, many lower income families have struggled to buy/get not only food, but diapers, formula, baby food, and other household essentials. Sewickley Community Food Pantry will be trying to fill the gaps for local families. When you are shopping for your family’s essential needs, please consider buying items to donate—perhaps, check the baby aisle to see if diapers, wipes, baby food, or formula are in stock, and add some (or other non-perishable foods) to your cart. As of now, the church custodian is at the church 8 am to 1 pm Monday through Friday—press the button near the ramp entrance and Chris can accept your donations. Contact the church office or Martha Boward for questions or to arrange other drop off options.
