Wiggins Family to Participate in Unite for Sight Mission Trip – Support Needed

Nina and Noah Wiggins have both been selected as Unite For Sight Global Impact Fellows and will participate with their parents Mark and Nancy at Crystal Eye Clinic in Ghana from May 16 – 23. Unite For Sight (uniteforsight.org) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that is the world's leader in socially responsible, effective volunteering and also a leader in providing high quality, cost-effective care to the world’s poorest people, having provided eye care services to 2.9 million patients, including more than 109,000 sight-restoring surgeries. While abroad, they will participate daily with the local ophthalmologists, local optometrists, and local ophthalmic nurses to eliminate patient barriers to care and to facilitate comprehensive year-round eye care for patients living in extreme poverty.

As a Unite For Sight Global Impact Fellow, Nina and Noah are fundraising at least $1,800 each. They would be so grateful for your support. You may donate through their online fundraising pages at slate.uniteforsight.org/register/ninawiggins and slate.uniteforsight.org/register/noahwiggins.

The average cost of a sight restoring cataract surgery is $50. Any help is appreciated, and no amount will go unnoticed. 100% of your tax-deductible donation goes directly to restoring sight for patients living in extreme poverty. The Wiggins thank you so much for your time and consideration and look forward to sharing their Ghana experiences with you!
