Isn’t January the best time to imagine summer? Everyone with imagination is invited to join the SUMC Education Committee for our first 2023 VBS meeting on January 29. We will gather in the Simpson Room around 12:15 pm to consider themes and dates, as well as all the possibilities for presentation. Do we want to try anything new? Do we want to bring back something that worked well in past VBS weeks? Can we assemble a drama team to tell stories? Can we create our own videos? How can we enhance the games and recreation options? What would make science sparkle? Can we have the kids create a mural? Can we go off campus? Can we invite special guests onto campus? Can we come together to create an experience that shares the love and light of Jesus in new ways? If you cannot attend, please share your ideas with Grace Rogansky, Pamela Mayo, or Bill Utterback.
