In November, look for the “O4O” tree at the back of the sanctuary. The Fellowship of the Cross will again be selling handmade Christmas decorations—including ornaments, nativity sets, jewelry, and stocking stuffers—from Ornaments 4 Orphans. Stop and visit us before, between, and after our Sunday worship services. O4O is a fair trade social enterprise dedicated to providing critical support for orphans and vulnerable children. The ornaments are created by artisans in Kenya, Uganda, Nepal, and Peru, and the money is returned to the artisans or invested in homes, schools and medical facilities in their communities. Every cent you spend is sent to the artisans and their neighborhoods. O4O uses ethical and sustainable business practices to advance society by creating jobs, which fights poverty, preserves intact families, empowers communities, and ultimately prevents children from becoming orphans.
