Join us as we celebrate PRIDE month! As faithful followers of Jesus Christ and his word, and as a Reconciling Ministries Network congregation, we will join our siblings in celebrating the LGBTQIA2S+ community and their achievements. We are hosting a special service on June 4 at 4:00 pm at SUMC. Leap of Faith will lead us in worship as Rev. Michael Airgood provides the message. Rev. Airgood pastors Pine Run & Glassport UMCs. He was selected as one of Allies for Health + Wellbeing Bright Young People of 2023. His work in the LGBTQIA2S+ community has not gone unnoticed. As Allies for Health + Wellbeing said, he is a part of “people who are making a real and tangible difference in our community and working toward a bright future, particularly in the realm of diversity, equity, and inclusion.” This worship service is open to all.
