Football and non-football fans unite! On February 11th, our congregation will help Tackle Hunger by celebrating the Souper Bowl of Caring. This nationwide movement has been inspiring grassroots efforts to tackle hunger in local communities for over 30 years. In a nod to the Souper Bowl theme, SUMC will be collecting cans of soup and cash, which will be distributed to the Sewickley Community Center’s food pantry. Please consider including some low-sodium and vegetarian soup options for those who have special food needs. Contributions of other canned goods, shelf-stable foods, and paper products are also welcome.
