Everyone is welcome to attend the 95th Annual World Day of Prayer Observance in Sewickley, which will be held in our church on Friday, March 1st at 11:00 AM. A luncheon will follow at noon. World Day of Prayer is a worldwide, ecumenical movement of Christian women of many traditions who come together to observe a common day of prayer on the first Friday in March each year. Women in more than 170 countries and regions participate in this movement. Through World Day of Prayer, women affirm that prayer and action are inseparable and have immeasurable influence in the world. The motto of World Day of Prayer is “Informed Prayer and Prayerful Action.”
