Dear SUMC family,

The Children’s Ministry team would like to thank everyone who has helped us engage with the children through the summer.

We are thankful for Greg Lane and Bill Ferguson for leading an intrepid team of nine children and a few adults to the heights of the clock tower in June. We learned history and engineering, and we learned that we’re stronger and more courageous than we imagined.

We are thankful for Dan Fisher for helping us host a pre-VBS party on the church lawn in July. We enjoyed the bounce house and the sprinkler, along with lawn games and popsicles.

We are also thankful for everyone who has rallied to support, staff, and pray for our “Seekers in Sneakers” vacation Bible school, which begins Aug. 5.

We are thankful for everyone who takes time to let the children know they are loved and welcome in His house and our church family.
