The children will then rejoin their families in the sanctuary for the final songs in the hymn sing.

We are still in need of about 10 more Christmas trees to use as “forest” decorations for VBS next week. If you would be willing to lend us one (or more) for next week, you can drop it off at church this week and leave it in the youth room downstairs, marked with your name. You could also drop it off on Saturday, between 10 am and 2 pm, when FOTC hosts their car wash, or bring it to church on Sunday. We will need them by Sunday, at the latest, because we will begin decorating right after church. They can be picked up the following Sunday, 8/12.
As the VBS team begins preparing for a “Roaring River Rampage” in August, we are concerned that we might get caught up a creek without a paddle. Please excuse the idiom. It seemed unavoidable.
Leap of Faith has again been asked to play for the Fern Hollow Summer Celebration on June 22nd from 5:00-8:00pm. As a thank you to the church, the SUMC family is invited to join in the celebration for free! Just say you are from Sewickley, and you’ll get free admission to the concert, kids’ activities, nature play date, and more. See Susie Moffett for more information.
The Creation Crew is in need of 1 or 2 family sized tents to take with us for our 4 days at Creation Festival starting June 27th. Please see Susie Moffett or Johnathan Burnette if you have a tent in good condition that you can lend. Also, we have 2 tickets still available if there is anyone interested in joining us last minute!
