The Methodist Episcopal Church of Sewickleyville was officially incorporated on November 13, 1852, 170 years ago this November. It’s a reason to celebrate!
SUMC is planning our 4th trip to Creation Fest in Mt Union, PA, and we want you to come with us! Creation 2022 will take place June 29th-July 2nd.
Visitation is scheduled for Friday, March 4, 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 pm, at Cole Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at Sewickley UMC on Saturday, March 5 at 11 am.

On Sunday, December 20, from 1-3 pm, there will be a drive-through, Live Nativity. The path begins at the intersection of Thorn and Broad, continues to the church parking lot through the driveway on Thorn, and exits from the parking lot to Broad. Experience shepherds, angels, wisemen, and the holy family. Everyone is welcome, and vehicles with children will be provided with a COVID-safe gift of ornaments, crafts, and wrapped candy. Come hear the music, and experience the Live Nativity Scene.

On Tuesday, March 10, we are hosting the Sewickley Music Club for their monthly program beginning at 1:30 pm, followed by a Saint Patrick’s Day themed reception. We will need help with set up, food donations, and clean up. Set up will be Monday, March 9 at 10 am. If you can help in any way, including donating tea sandwiches, finger food, or cookies, please contact Sandy Kuriger.

Easter Sunday, April 21 at 10 am – The Education Committee is sponsoring an Easter Egg Hunt for all children up through fifth grade. All youth are welcome to help with the hunt.
This Sunday’s Lenten Program begins at 6 pm when teams representing Leap of Faith, Youth, Clergy, and Monthly Luncheons will face off in our 6th Annual Church Family Feud. The covered dish dinner begins at 5 pm. Please bring a side for the table.
The Bishop is holding debriefing sessions in each district so lay and clergy members of the United Methodist Church in Western Pennsylvania hear accurate information about the decisions made at the Special Called Session of General Conference and the process we, as an annual conference, will undertake in order to implement the legislation that passed. The Pittsburgh District Debriefing is Sunday, March 24 at 2 pm at Salem UMC (350 Manor Rd, Wexford, PA 15090).
