Church Family Thanksgiving Dinner

Pastor Russel is hosting the 14th Annual Church Family Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday, November 16 at 6 pm. Go here to RSVP online (be sure to click the SUBMIT button at the bottom of the RSVP form) or complete the form in the back of the sanctuary. RSVPs are due by Sunday, November 10. A free will offering will be accepted at the dinner to help offset the cost of the dinner.

Our annual picnic is THIS SUNDAY, June 2, with our friends from the St. Matthews AME Zion church at Walker Park, shelter #3. Hamburgers, hotdogs, chicken wings, drinks and paper products will be provided. Setup begins at 12:30. We will break bread at 1:30 pm.

This Sunday’s Lenten Program begins at 6 pm when teams representing Leap of Faith, Youth, Clergy, and Monthly Luncheons will face off in our 6th Annual Church Family Feud. The covered dish dinner begins at 5 pm. Please bring a side for the table.

In order to offset costs of our camps and retreat centers, WPAUMC churches are asked to take a special Camping Sunday offering. The Bishop’s Camping and Retreat Initiative has also launched, with the campaign coming to local churches beginning in January 2019.
