The seasonal choir is assembling for Easter Sunday!
To sponsor flowers to adorn the chancel on Easter, you may order online or complete a paper form available in the back of the sanctuary or outside of the office.
We will be having an A/V booth training Sunday, February 17, at noon.
We will be joining St. Matthew’s AME Zion, St. Paul’s Lutheran, and Sewickley Presbyterian churches for our Sunday evening Lenten services.
We will begin our first gathering of our Lenten journey at the Sewickley Presbyterian Church on February 14th at 7:00 pm with our community Ash Wednesday Service.
We have many ministries with a variety of ways you can serve.
Your washed out cardboard drink cartons are appreciated by the Altar Committee.
The SUMC choir is getting back together, and you are invited to make a joyful noise!
Join us on January 14th as we recognize and remember the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the work that he did alongside so many others.
There is much to be thankful for this Christmas season. Thanks for your selfless giving of your time and abundance.
We are looking for people to form a choir for the 7:30 pm traditional service on Christmas Eve.
Join us on December 17th to watch in awe and wonder the story of the birth of Christ brought to life.
If you would like to help adorn the chancel with poinsettias for Christmas, please order online, or use an order form, by Tuesday, December 6.
All Saints Day is an opportunity to give thanks for those who have gone before us in the faith. It is a time to celebrate our history, what United Methodists call the tradition of the church.

On November 19th, we are going to have an opportunity to make a Cornucopia out of something we are thankful for.
On November 26th, SUMC will join with other United Methodists to observe Student Day and to accept donations to support United Methodist students in achieving their educational goals.
On November 5th, during both worship services, we will recognize the saints who have passed from among us.
SUMC will observe Disability Awareness Sunday on August 20th.
Sunday at 4:00 pm, a community worship service and picnic hosted by the congregations of St. Matthews AME Zion, St. Paul’s Lutheran, Sewickley United Methodist, and Sewickley Presbyterian will be on the lawn of the Faith House located at Sewickley Presbyterian.
