We do it anyways
Let’s face it, there is so much that we just simply do not want to do that we are responsible for making sure gets done. So we push our feelings aside, and we do it anyways. Sometimes we have really good excuses for not wanting to do them, but rarely do we end up regretting the fact that we acted responsibly in that moment. We might be a bit more tired in the end, but we did what we had to do. As we take a look at the story from the book of Acts about Philip meeting the Eunuch, we learn that the benefits of doing that thing anyways can far outreach the benefits of not. While pushing judgements and institutional practices aside, Philip and the Eunuch give us a moment in scripture that could have possibly altered the lives of many beyond the moment.
