With all authority in heaven and earth, with the glory and affirmation of God upon him, the angels on standby to care for him, you would think Jesus didn’t need to be surrounded by other people. But remember, he is human. We were created to be in community, not to exist for ourselves. Jesus finds his humanity, not only in his connection with God, but in relationship with other people. He does not go on his journey alone.
