Have you ever heard someone make an audacious claim about themselves? The Guinness Book of World Records is a whole book focused on claiming people are the best at one thing or another. It’s ok when someone else makes the claim, but when you make that claim about yourself, it often can seem conceited or egotistical. Yet, if we follow the example of Jesus, we are encouraged to boldly speak words of power over ourselves. What words of power belong to you?
