Are you a “serve behind the scenes” or “stand in front” type of person? Are you a “I want to be noticed and thanked” or a “just happy to do what I can” type of person? In Psalm 84:10, the Psalmist is saying, I don’t care what I do, or what type of attention I get for it, or where I fall in the order of importance, if I get to just be in the presence of God. That is better than any riches and glory I can ever receive. Does your love for God cause you to be happy to serve, anywhere, anyhow, anyway?
