On Thursday, September 21st, from 4-8 pm, the “friend-raising” event will be held beginning at Calvary UMC on the Northside and concluding at BBF just a very short walk from Calvary. Attendees will learn more about TNC and about the partnership that it has with BBF. BBF operates a warehouse where scavenged medical and educational supplies are collected, sorted, and shipped to impoverished countries. TNC has partnered with BBF to send ocean containers to Nyadire. The $25 donation will cover the cost of the appetizers and desserts at both Calvary and BBF. Sewickley UMC has been supporting TNC with our Lenten Fines. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about both TNC and its partner BBF.
