On Saturday, December 15th, The Olive Branch, a fair trade shop, run in part by Salem UMC, will bring a pop-up store to Sewickley UMC. From 9 am to noon, you may purchase items from the display in the Simpson Room. Items range from tea and chocolate to spices, jewelry, decorations, purses, scarves, and so much more. Some items are made with recycled auto parts!
Bonus this year: the Mission & More crafty folks have made items to help support the Mission & More projects. These handmade items will also be available for purchase on December 15th. Projects of Mission and More include fidget blankets, birthing kits and feminine hygiene kits for Haiti, and hygiene kits for Africa.
This will be a wonderful opportunity to pick unique gifts for friends and family, or perhaps purchase something for you. The Olive Branch store is located on Perry Highway in Wexford and has rental space for meetings, small groups, or even baby or bridal showers. Check out their website.
