Ash Wednesday will be observed this coming Wednesday, February 14, at St. Matthew’s AME Zion Church (345 Thorn St, Sewickley). It is our tradition to join our sister church, as we begin our holy journey of Lent. The evening will begin with our traditional, meatless meal at 6 pm. St. Matthew’s will provide fish. We are invited to bring a meatless side dish or salad to share. The service will begin at 7 pm, in St. Matthew’s sanctuary, with the imposition of ashes.
