EUMA (Erie United Methodist Alliance) and All God’s Children Ministries/Ramps of Hope is holding its Annual Shoe Drive to raise funds for its missions. Sewickley UMC will collect new and gently used CLEAN shoes (pairs only) from now until June 3rd. Ask your friends, family, and neighbors to help collect shoes. The shoes will then be delivered to Annual Conference at Grove City College on June 6th. It’s a win, win, win situation! EUMA raises much needed funds for outreach ministries, shoes are kept out of landfills, and we support micro-enterprise in developing countries. Last year, supporters helped to raise over $14,000 for missions! For ease of collection, kits are available at the information table at the back of the sanctuary. Either tie laces of shoe pairs or use the included rubber bands to match pairs. Place up to 25 pairs in the provided bag. Return bag with paired shoes to church. Collection boxes will be available in the Simpson Room and in the church basement. The more unwanted shoes cleared from closets, the more mission support is generated!
