Using Outreach-designated funds, SUMC provided the preschool program at Bethany House with ingredients for hot breakfasts—turkey sausage, eggs, and toast was the delivery morning’s breakfast. In addition to further eggs, sausage, and bread, the program received pancake mix, canned fruit, and yogurt. Outreach plans another delivery in January. A few weeks later, thanks to the congregations’ generosity, an SUMC group delivered the wrapped Christmas presents for distribution to both the preschool and to the afterschool program participants. The hats, mittens, gloves, socks, etc. were also delivered.
