If you are filling a bag, please be sure to drop it off by April 5th – at this point, the custodian is still at the church from 8 am to 1 pm Monday through Friday. With the increase in food needs, these bags will be welcome – the Food Pantry is working on plans for food distributions in April – some may be by delivery to those in need. SUMC is accepting cash donations in order to provide each family with a Giant Eagle gift card, with which the family may purchase perishable items. You may include your financial donation with your regular offering or via EasyTithe – please indicate “Easter Bags”. Many of the tagged bags were taken by congregants, but if you need the list, please contact Martha Boward (maboward@yahoo.com) or the church office.
