As churches were not able to host the program families for dinner through morning due to the COVID-19 pandemic, families were first housed at a corporate long-term residential hotel, but were moved to AirBnBs when the hotel closed. Very recently, it was announced that Laura Vincenti was no longer director of Family Promise and that no new families would be accepted into the program. While the board determines the path forward, the existing families are being assisted by county agencies to finish their re-homing process. Family Promise has been one of few programs able to keep families with children intact while the families work their way toward being homed. Please be in prayer for the families and Family Promise.
