Family Promise had not been able to serve guests in the traditional manner since March; eventually providing each family with AirBnb accommodations. As of June 30th, Family Promise is no longer providing families with that provision. Happily, two families are now in permanent housing. The other two families were transferred to Women's Space due to the lack of availability of AirBnbs. Family Promise remains in contact with those two families.
Due to the uncertainty of the times, Family Promise is discussing what the next iteration will look like. That may be the implementation of an aftercare program, serving former guests. This is something that had been in mind for quite some time and clearly seen as a need, keeping families from experiencing homelessness again.
