This Crafton based interfaith ministry assisting homeless families with children hopes to resume regular operation in June. The model used is for families to receive day services in Crafton, while spending dinner through morning at a host church, rotating churches weekly. St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Carnegie will be welcoming families once the program restarts; due to several hosts churches opting out at this time, each participating church will be used more frequently. Sewickley UMC has been supporting St. John’s by providing dinner and occasionally overnight support. If you are willing to be a part of this support, please contact Martha Boward. Online training is required of all volunteers.
