Did you know as a United Methodists we are invited to participate in connectional giving? It is through our connectional giving that we are able to accomplish something much bigger than our church can do on its own. When we at SUMC support UMC-wide and Conference-wide special offerings, our giving is combined with the special offerings of churches throughout the United Methodist connection, allowing our combined giving to support efforts to alleviate human suffering, engage in social justice, strengthen Native American ministries, and provide scholarships for higher education on a large scale.
You are truly a generous congregation, ensuring our church remains vital through worship and in ministries in our community, in our region, in our country, and in our world.
