SUMC members delivered “souper” results and helped the local food pantry tackle hunger by donating $355 in cash and several dozen cans of soup during the Souper Bowl of Caring. Thank you to all who participated.
Dear SUMC family,
The Fellowship of the Cross would like to extend our gratitude for the way you embraced and encouraged our “Candygram” campaign in February. Your generosity allowed us to exceed our fundraising goal of $100 for school fees and supplies for the student we sponsor in Zimbabwe. The remaining money will go toward Operation Christmas Child shipping fees and costs. Beyond your generosity, we were moved by the enthusiasm you poured into sharing love with brothers and sisters in our church family. In one small campaign, we were able to make an impact in the world while encouraging and appreciating children, youth, adults, and entire ministry teams at home. As always, we are inspired and encouraged by the way you share His Love and Light.
Sincerely,
The Fellowship of the Cross
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
We received numerous thank you’s from the kids at the Bethany House. The notes were handwritten and so expressive at how much they felt cared for this Christmas.
