Dear Congregation,

The Leadership Board met for the 3rd time this year March 20. We are still working on, and finishing up, some administrative things, as Pastor Hannah had mentioned previously. One of those things was an unexpected occurrence this year. After decades of having the same insurance provider, we were dropped by that company. This situation is not unique to our church, as many churches across the nation have also been dropped by their insurance carrier. A committee was formed to search for a new provider. That search was a process that took some time, but starting at the end of March, we will have a different insurance company.

We are still working on following the time schedule and format suggested in the SAS model, the new way of governance in our church. We have had productive meetings with good discussion, but it is a process in changing the system, and it takes time. We are all onboard for that challenge, and we will get there. The Leadership Board will schedule a town hall meeting and encourage the congregation to attend. Thank you for your prayers and support.
