Walls and ceiling have been painted! The wall color is described as soft, gray, baby blue. The ceiling remains a flat white. New LED ceiling lights have been installed. They brighten up the space. The carpet has been removed and will be replaced by a light wood laminate. Stop in and see the updates! While we are not close to ordering books, we are taking requests. Please write your selection on the designated forms on the table in the Narthex. The committee is in the process of selecting new furniture. We continue to look for ideas to make the library useful and inviting for all. Ideas we are considering include special programs (book club, speaker series) and possibly dedicate one day/week TBD to invite our church family members, who work remotely, to come and utilize the library as a shared co-working facility.
