Olmsted, a UM retreat center, is excited to once again welcome the young-at-heart for a weekend of fellowship and renewal with beautiful surroundings and comfortable accommodations for the perfect time away with peers.
Wesley Woods, one of the 3 United Methodist Camps in Western Pennsylvania, is offering $50 off registration for anyone who registers for Summer Camp 2022 by the end of February.
WPAUMC churches are asked to take a special Camping Sunday offering. To give to Camping Sunday, you may include your additional gift with your regular offering or use EasyTithe, marking “camping”.
Every dollar raised from the sale of the CD will go directly to support the “Deeply Rooted, Upward Reaching” campaign supporting six Western PA Conference Camping and Retreat Ministries: Tara’s and Eric’s journeys “have been beautifully shaped and blessed by the work of these six ministries.

The Outreach Committee is seeking several people to give a short testimonial about their positive experience with any of the WPAUMC’s camps or retreat centers.
Camping and Retreat Ministries serves over 20,000 people each year through camps, programs, retreats and other ministry opportunities. To increase participation, a capital campaign has been started to raise no less than $2.5 million and challenge a goal of $5 million. In May, SUMC Outreach Committee will highlight some of the ministries served. Congregants will then be encouraged to either make a gift or a pledge to this initiative.
