As those over the age of 70½ know, you are required to take an annual distribution from your IRA or face a stiff penalty. Since you have to take a distribution anyway, you can do it in the most tax advantaged way possible.
Giving this year is more than $25,000 lower than usual. While we aren’t able to meet for worship in person, the ministries of the church continue. If you are able, please consider giving a year end gift to help close the gap.
