Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr service of remembrance is on January 19th. We will have a shared meal together in the Simpson room at 4:00 pm followed by a worship service at 5:00 pm in the Sanctuary.
We will be hosting a Service of Remembrance for Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on January 19th alongside our church partners St. Matthews AME Zion, Sewickley Presbyterian and St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
Consider this an invitation to a planning meeting and a prayer initiative. The SUMC VBS team is holding its next planning meeting in the Simpson Room on April 21, shortly after the 11:00 am worship service ends. On December 10th, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, at 4:00 pm, there will be an advent concert featuring music from several Sewickley area church musicians, including our Clocktower Ringers!
Sunday at 4:00 pm, a community worship service and picnic hosted by the congregations of St. Matthews AME Zion, St. Paul’s Lutheran, Sewickley United Methodist, and Sewickley Presbyterian will be on the lawn of the Faith House located at Sewickley Presbyterian.
This new, free-cycle space is a place where caretakers of young children can share and pick out gently used clothing, coats/jackets, and shoes for free.
During Lent, we will gather to worship with our siblings in Christ at St. Matthews AME Zion, St. Paul’s Lutheran, and Sewickley Presbyterian churches.
We are having one combined worship service on July 31st at 11 am, followed by a time of lunch & fellowship, as we celebrate the start of the Sewickley Community Vacation Bible School.

This Lenten Season, give the gift of your story to your brothers and sisters in Christ. We are putting together a devotional for the 40 days of Lent that witness to the truth of Jesus in our lives.
