At the Church Conference held on June 29, we voted to adopt the Simplified, Accountable Structure. What is next?
On Thursday, June 29th, we will be holding a Church Conference to vote on the adoption of the Simplified Accountable Structure. We will meet at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary.
Join the SAS Communications team for a light lunch on May 7th following the 11:00 am traditional service. During our lunch, we will look over the guiding principles that would govern the Leadership Board and take a peek at the new suggested administrative structure in graph form.

If you accepted membership on a church committee, changes are effective with the new year. The January newsletter lists all of the church committees and their membership.
PLEASE COME to an informational town-hall meeting on December 5th at 7 pm in the church’s sanctuary. All are invited to hear more about SAS and will have a time to ask questions. This event will also be streamed live.

This model looks at the current structure of the administrative life of the church and considers ways it can be simplified for maximum efficiency. When we talk about the administrative life of the church, we are referring to the Administrative Board, Finance Committee, Trustees, and Staff Pastor Parish Relations Committee. The SAS joins together all four committees creating a one-board model.

On November 16th, at 7 pm, we will host an in-person Church Conference in the sanctuary. All members are invited to attend and are extended the privilege to vote.
If you have not made a resolution yet, I have a suggestion: Be more joyful! What do you have to be joyful about as we start a new year? What is bringing you joy right now?
Anyone wishing to have Church Council approval of resolutions to be presented at the annual Western Pennsylvania Conference of The United Methodist Church should present the resolution in writing to either Pastor Hannah or incoming Council Chair, Mitch Hortert, no later than December 31.
