Since we can’t host our Monthly Salad Luncheon due to the coronavirus, the Luncheon Committee is offering takeout meals the first Thursday of the month when the salad luncheon would have been.
Because of Covid restrictions, the Turkey Dinner coordinators have changed the traditional turkey dinner that is held in February to two new meals for 2021. We hope you will enjoy one or both of them.

The cookie walk sale has added to the General Fund support in the amount of $1,590. We were sold out of all cookies and candy in one and a half hours.
Our January soup choices are Chicken Noodle, Beef Barley Vegetable, and Vegetable Cheddar Chowder, and Sandra’s Hummus. Order by December 20 at this link or call the office. Orders will be available on January 8.
Our popular Cookie Walk is coming up… Saturday, December 12th, 9–11 am, in the Simpson Room. Last year, we had 32 bakers make over 6,000 holiday cookies to sell about 100 boxes of cookies. Let’s go beyond that this year!

Calling all bakers! We will be hosting the annual Cookie Walk on Saturday, December 12th, inviting the public to attend from 9 to 11 a.m.
While the SUMC Boo Crew are all wearing masks, we regret that we are unable to provide a haunted house this year.
The Sewickley UMC Luncheon Committee is offering takeout meals on the first Thursday of the month (when the salad luncheon would have been). Each meal is $10 and will make a perfect lunch or dinner.

Despite the positive feedback that helped us decide to have a Pumpkin Patch this year, we’re struggling to find volunteers to run the Patch. Even today, we are only half covered. Please, please, please help us fill the volunteer schedule by clicking here.
Our pumpkins arrive this Saturday, October 10 at 9 am, and we need as many volunteers as possible to unload the truck. We will be unloading in a socially distant way, and masks are mandatory. Please lend your time to this important task!
We received word that our pumpkins have been delayed in New Mexico. Please email the office or text/call Diane Bartley (412-266-6113) if you can help unload pumpkins on Saturday, October 10 at 9 am (if delivery can be arranged then). If you knew of a group coming to help unload, please let them know that there isn't a delivery this Saturday. Please continue to sign up to run the pumpkin patch and stand by for news.
The Cookie Walk is the fastest and the tastiest fundraiser for the church. We will sell more than 6,000 homemade pastries and goodies to the public on Saturday, December 12th, between 9 and 11 am.
The Fellowship of the Cross (FOTC) is selling Krispy Kreme original glazed doughnuts to those who pre-order them by Sunday, October 11, to help raise money to ship our shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child.
