Secret Pals 2018 runs from Sunday February 4th – Sunday February 25th. If you have not done this before, this is how it works.
The Lenten dinners will begin on Sunday, February 25th and run for 5 weeks ending on March 25th. Each dinner will begin at 5:00; main dish, rolls, and beverages will be provided. Please bring a dish for the table.
The congregation will kick off the new year on Sunday, January 28th, with fellowship at noon. Homemade soups will be served with snacks, desserts, and beverages. Come enjoy worshiping and dining together.
Film club has been cancelled due to the weather.
Ruth Painter, mother of Nancy Wiggins, and grandmother of Noah and Nina, has passed away. Her funeral service will be held at Sewickley UMC today, Thursday, December 14, at 6:30 pm. Visitation will take place in the sanctuary the hour prior to the service, and a funeral meal will be held in the Simpson Room following the service.
If you wanted to make any donations to the gift bags the FOTC kids will deliver to the shut-ins this coming Sunday, December 17, please be sure to bring them to the church no later than Sunday morning.
Ed and Sebastian Cymbalak are this year's Christmas Sweater winners! Ho, ho, ho!
Birthday Breakfast for Jesus will take place between services on Sunday, December 17, in the Simpson Room. Serving will begin at 9:50 am. Please bring a breakfast goodie for the buffet. Sign up in the sanctuary.
The Adult Christmas Party is next Saturday, December 16th, at 5:00 pm, at Belinda and Doug Resler’s home (1300 Beaver Road). Bring a goodie for the buffet. Also, bring a white elephant gift for the crazy exchange. Sign up in sanctuary.
This coming Sunday is our “traditional” Christmas sweater Sunday. Please join in with your Christmas sweater for a wonderful time of fellowship and fun. There might even be a sweater contest!
This coming Tuesday, November 21, at noon, all ladies of the church are invited to celebrate the birthdays of ladies born in November and December.
The Kickoff for Kids' Night Out is this Tuesday, September 12th, at 5:30 pm for dinner and 6 pm for study, singing, and crafts. All children and youth, kindergarten through high school, are welcome.
Our Saturday, September 9, 6 pm movie is Lorenzo's Oil, a 1992 American drama filmed primarily in Pittsburgh.
There will be only one combined service this coming Sunday (August 27) at 10 am. A fellowship luncheon will be held afterward; please bring a dish to share.
Pat Leiphart's Celebration Of Life Service will be held on Saturday, August 26, at 10:30 am, followed by a luncheon in the Simpson Room.
Everyone is invited to celebrate each other’s birthdays on the 3rd Tuesday of every other month in the church library at noon.
Our Annual Church Picnic is this Sunday, June 4, at War Memorial Park, Shelter #1 by the parking lot.
