A LOUD shout out to all those who helped to make Light Up Night and the Christmas toy shop truly magical experiences for our community.
This year we continue our tradition of collecting NEW hats, mittens, gloves, scarves, socks, and gifts for the children and youth at Kidcelerate (formerly Bethany House).
On December 10th, SUMC will take a special collection for the UMC Western PA Conference’s Doors to Hope/Red Stocking programs.
Walking the Talk Charity is taking toy donations for their Free Christmas Toy Store which will be held here at the Church on December 9th from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
In November, look for the “O4O” tree at the back of the sanctuary.
To help patrons of the food pantry prepare Thanksgiving dinner, Outreach is inviting you to fill a grocery bag with the non-perishable items traditionally used at Thanksgiving.

Our October focus for the Sewickley Community Food Pantry is Comfort foods such as: hearty soups and stews, mashed potatoes, and macaroni and cheese.
Join us on October 3rd for a prayer walk. We will gather on the front porch of the parsonage (333 Broad St.) at 6:00 pm.
What if some of the unsold items from the Rummage Sales for Missions were taken to Northview Heights and
made available for free to the residents?

UMCOR has issued an initial grant for emergency supplies to help survivors recover belongings.
SUMC is the host site for “Rich Zahrobsky’s Praying for a Miracle Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser” on Sunday, August 27th, 1:00 to 5:00 pm.

In August, we will collect breakfast foods and child-friendly foods for the Sewickley Community Food Pantry.

SUMC has been very active in our community and connectionally around the world in the past month. Our generosity has been noticed, and we’ve received messages of thanks.
The Kids’ Community Closet "free-cycle” space at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (616 Washington St, Sewickley) is open on Saturdays, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm for everyone.
The Sewickley Community Food Pantry is serving more people who need help with food. Contributions of non-perishable food items and paper products are always welcome.
