You are invited to join members of the Sewickley United Methodist Women on Sunday for a “Lunch and Learn” event at 12:30. We will learn about mission work on our southern border from Mission Ambassadors Lynn Sibley and Sandy McKee. We meet in the Simpson Room across the hall from the sanctuary. We look forward to seeing you.
The UNITED METHODIST WOMEN (UMW) are having a luncheon meeting on Saturday, January 11 at noon at Sunny Jim’s (255 Camp Horne Rd, Emsworth; 412-761-6700). We will order off the menu. The United Methodist Women are having a Rummage Sale for Missions on Friday, September 6 from 5 to 8 pm, and on Saturday, September 7 from 8 am to 1 pm.
The United Methodist Women will hold its Sale for Missions (formerly called the Rummage Sale) this evening and Saturday, in the church basement.
Friday, May 10, Evening hours 5 to 8 PM
Saturday, May 11, Morning hours 8 AM to 1 PM
Your donations are very much welcomed and appreciated for the May 10 & 11 “Sale for Missions” (formerly called the Rummage Sale). The UMW raises funds for mission projects by selling gently used, new-to-you household items, dishes, kitchen items, small appliances, clothing, small pieces of furniture, books, toys, puzzles, and games.
The Sale for Missions will be held Friday, May 10 from 5 PM to 8 PM and Saturday, May 11 from 8 AM to 1 PM. We offer gently used household items, dishes, clothing, jewelry, small appliances, books, puzzles, toys, and one-of-a-kind treasures. All proceeds benefit international, national, and local mission projects supported by the United Methodist Women.
Everyone is welcome to attend the UMW meeting this Sunday in the Simpson Room after the 11 am service, about 12:15 pm. Please bring a small side dish to add to the buffet table. A business meeting will follow lunch.
