The Education Committee is seeking three essential components for our 2021 Easter Egg hunt: children, plastic eggs, and candy, or any small treats or gifts that might remind our youngest church family members that they are loved and included in the glory of Easter.

The hunt will be on the afternoon of April 3, the Saturday before Easter. The starting time is tentatively scheduled for 2 p.m., but we may employ multiple starting times to accommodate distancing protocols. Masks are required for children and adults.

Registration is essential to establishing safe-distancing parameters, so please register your children by March 21 at this link or by contacting the office. Contact Bill Utterback if you have any questions.

The event is open to the community, so cousins, old friends, new friends, potential friends, neighbors, classmates, and teammates are welcome.

We are planning an outdoor event, using multiple spaces on the church campus, but we may move indoors if the weather is uncooperative. An indoor event may necessitate multiple starting times. Safety protocols will be a priority.

Anyone wishing to contribute plastic eggs, candy, or small gifts can leave donations in the Fellowship of the Cross box under the table in the hall outside the church office. We can accept individually-wrapped candies. We cannot accept homemade treats.

Additional information and updates will be provided through the church website, bulletins, and other communications.
