Leadership Board
On February 1st at 5:30 pm, the congregation is invited to attend the town hall meeting that will be held here in the Simpson Room.
By the time you read this, the Leadership Board will have returned from our annual planning retreat.
Now that SUMC has concluded the Haunted House and the Pumpkin Patch, we return our collective attentions to achieving, maybe even exceeding, those goals, which were laid on our hearts and minds by the Holy Spirit back in January.
The leadership board, in the August and September meetings, has met with the various ministry teams. The goal was to hear of ministry challenges and wishlists to help the board in decisions on disbursement of the Miracle Sunday money from December 2019.

We are already at the point in our life where we are beginning to look ahead into the coming year.
Hopefully, most of the SUMC family is aware the Leadership Board of SUMC set several “God Sized” goals for 2024, including a significant increase in congregational giving by approximately $38,000 or 15%.
Leadership Board meeting time moved for the months of July and August. Instead of the third Wednesday of the month, we will gather on July 31st and August 28th.

The Leadership Board met for the 3rd time this year March 20.
We have had our second meeting and are working on measuring progress towards our God-sized goals.
