Christmas
The Christmas season has been a time of beauty, joy, and togetherness throughout our church, but now it’s time for the “Unhanging of the Greens!” We’d love for you to join us as we carefully take down the decorations in the Sanctuary, Parlor, Simpson Room, and Hallways and pack them away for next year.
Many notes of thanks for what our church members are doing both within and outside our walls.
The Contemporary Christmas Eve Service will be held at 5:00 pm, and the Traditional Service will be held at 7:30.
There will be a joint service held at 10:00 am on Sunday, December 22, which will include our Christmas Pageant and be followed by the Breakfast for Baby Jesus. There will also be a joint service held on December 29 at 10:00 am.
Each year during the Christmas season, we as a congregation have the opportunity to show our church staff our appreciation with a small gift.
Donations to help contribute to the live Christmas flower arrangements can be made by dedicating your offering as “Christmas Flowers” in the offering plate or through our Vanco eGiving portal.
Walking the Talk Charity is taking toy donations for their Free Christmas Toy Store which will be held here at the Church on December 14th from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. Volunteers are also needed.
Our annual Birthday Breakfast for Jesus will be December 22nd at 11:00 am after the joint service.
You are invited to join us on Light Up Night for a part in the nativity scene. No speaking parts, jut FUN! Call Wilma Hamilton at 724-266-1473 to participate.
On December 6th, from 5:00–9:00 pm, we will once again be celebrating Light Up Night and opening our sanctuary to visitors!

A tradition launched by Pastor Hannah has become one of the key dates in our annual Operation Christmas Child campaign.

The youth group will be hosting a Christmas Party on December 17 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm.
Join us on December 17th to watch in awe and wonder the story of the birth of Christ brought to life.

If you would like to help adorn the chancel with poinsettias for Christmas, please order online, or use an order form, by Tuesday, December 6.
