Rainbow Handbells for Pre-K to 3rd Grade and Chimes for 3rd Grade and up rehearse Sundays between services.
3 worship services, a continental breakfast, and an egg hunt are all part of our Easter celebration.
Per CDC guidelines, wearing masks in public places is no longer required, regardless of vaccination status. Therefore, at the guidance of the CDC and the Bishop’s office, mask wearing is optional when attending worship and other functions at Sewickley UMC.
We are so thankful to have a new nursery attendant beginning April 3rd.

The imposition of ashes will be available at Wolcott Park, and there will be a 6 pm service at St. Matthews AME Zion. Pastor Hannah is preaching.
The Handbell Choir is looking for a couple more people to ring with us.
As we have done in the past and continue to strive to do, we will be gathering with our brothers and sisters from St. Matthews AME Zion and St. Paul’s Lutheran Churches over the season of Lent.
We will have acolyte training on Sunday, February 27th, following the Traditional Worship Service.
We will be gathering with our brothers and sisters from St. Matthews AME Zion and St. Paul’s Lutheran Churches over the season of Lent. Though it has been common practice, out of an abundance of caution, we will not be sharing meals this year. We will however share our hearts in worship together.
On Sunday, January 30, we will, as a whole, recommit ourselves to the work and service of God’s kingdom. We will use Wesley’s Covenant Prayer as the words that lead us, once again, to surrender our lives to the work God has for us to do.
