Put on the breaks!! It’s ok to stop and turn around and head in the other direction. It is ok to change your mind. Sometimes there seems to be a lot of pressure to know the answer and to know it right away. How often have we been sorry for saying something that we wish we would have taken a bit more time to think about first? What we learn in the interaction between Joseph and the angel is that we have the time to make sure our decisions are right and permission to change our minds if they are not.
