In the angel’s proclamation of the birth of Jesus, we hear the phrase, “ALL PEOPLE.” The angels spoke to the most unexpecting group of shepherds and told them a message that was to “bring great joy to ALL PEOPLE.” Yet still we sometimes wonder, “Even them?” Does all really mean everyone, or does it simply mean a potential for all if they would only believe in this message? Who would you be happy to leave out of the “all?” What unexpected beauty would you have missed if they were already written out of the “all” without having the opportunity for the joy? Good news comes in unexpected ways and to the most unexpected people.
