Psalm 84 goes on to say, “Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young—a place near your altar, Lord Almighty, my King and my God. Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you.” Finding a home, a true place of belonging, is something I believe we all crave. To belong and to feel loved is simply a part of the desires that were created within us. But sometimes, we are waiting for an invitation from someone who already belongs to help us know we can belong, too. Just one day this week, let’s invite someone to church and show them they belong.
