As many Israelites made their pilgrimage to Zion, they had to first go through the Valley of Baca, which means the “Valley of Sorrows” or the “Valley of Tears,” in Palestine. Due to the lack of water and brutal terrain, it was a difficult road to travel. We all know about difficult roads to travel. It is faith that assures us there is strength to be gained while on that road. This is something we can all relate to, no matter where in the world we are from. God has made a way for us through the wilderness to gain strength and to find life.
