This message of Jesus just keeps getting harder. What we have seen over the past couple of weeks is that we are to be poor, sad, sick, and now we are to love our enemies. Jesus does not have an easy message for us. But what we learn through experience is when we follow the words of Christ, it somehow all seems to make sense. The words of Jesus are best experienced lived and not just read.
