WPAUMC is blessed to have several camps, which offer opportunities year round, but especially offer children and youth the chance to commune with nature while learning about Jesus and growing in their faith. In order to offset costs of our camps and retreat centers, WPAUMC churches are asked to take a special Camping Sunday offering. The Bishop’s Camping and Retreat Initiative has also launched, with the campaign coming to local churches beginning in January 2019. To give to Camping Sunday, you may include your additional gift with your regular offering, marking “camping”; or you may use EasyTithe, also indicating “camping”.
