Our 2022 Sewickley community Vacation Bible School (hosted by SUMC in partnership with St. Matthews AME Zion and St. Paul’s Lutheran) will revolve around a Food Truck theme and scripture from the Lord ’s Prayer: “Give us this day our daily bread.” This verse will serve as a reminder that everything we have comes from God — and that it's by turning to God in prayer that all of our daily needs are met. We will gather in the evenings. Our VBS, as always, is open to all children entering kindergarten through sixth grade and is free to all. Registration is open.

Come help create VBS decorations, Thursday evenings in July, 6-9 pm. To get ready for decorating, the following items are needed:

• 12 sheets of white poster board

• Multi-colored tissue paper sheets

• 5 rolls of duct tape

• 6 wide foam brushes

• 12 light blue rectangular plastic tablecloths

• Large bottles of white and black tempera paint

• Box Cutters

• Box Cutter blades

• Small-medium size picnic table

• 2-3 bistro sets (small table and two chairs)
